FRP Die Services and Moulding
The success of your finished goods is directly influenced by the calibre of your moulds and dies in the cutthroat world of FRP product manufacture. At FRP Pattern Makers, we recognise the significance of this relationship and have devoted more than 20 years to creating precise FRP dies and moulds that consistently produce outstanding results.
Our team of skilled engineers and technicians is well-versed in the properties of FRP materials, moulding methods, and die manufacturing procedures. Using this knowledge, we make moulds and dies that adhere to the highest industry standards, guaranteeing consistent product quality, precise dimensions, and long-lasting functionality.
Retain your product with long-lasting FRP dies and moulds.
FRP Moulding
Using a mould, FRP material is shaped into the required shape through the process of FRP moulding. Usually, the mould is constructed from a material that can withstand the pressure and heat needed to cure the FRP. Two primary categories of FRP moulding exist:
Open mould moulding: This method involves curing FRP material by placing it on top of a mould. Though less accurate than closed mould moulding, this technique is easy to use and reasonably priced.
Closed mould moulding: The FRP material is sandwiched between two mould halves in closed mould moulding. Following the clamping of the mold's two halves, the FRP material cures. Although this process is more costly than open mould moulding, it is also more accurate.
FRP Dies
Moulding and curing FRP material into the required shape is done with FRP dies. Fundamentally, FRP dies come in two varieties:
Compression mould dies: Compression moulding dies include the insertion of FRP material into a mould, followed by a plunger's compression. High-strength FRP products are made with this technique.
Injection mould dies: FRP material is melted and injected into a mould using injection moulding dies, where it cures. FRP items in large quantities are produced using this process.
FRP Dies and Moulding
Automotive: FRP moulds and dies are used to make body panels, bumpers, and interior trim for automobiles.
Construction: FRP moulds and dies are used to make building materials like roofing sheets, panels and pipes.
Aerospace: Fuel tanks, radomes, and aircraft fairings are among the components made with FRP moulds and dies.
Marine: Boat decks and hulls are made from FRP moulds and dies.

The advantages of dies and FRP moulding
High strength-to-weight ratio: Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) products lend themselves to a multitude of applications due to their strength and lightweight nature.
Corrosion Resistance: FRP goods are perfect for usage in abrasive conditions since they are corrosion-resistant.
Durability: FRP materials have a high degree of durability and can tolerate a broad spectrum of temperatures and environmental factors.

Dimensional Accuracy: FRP items can be produced with a very high degree of precision using FRP moulds and dies.

Low Cost: The comparatively inexpensive cost of FRP moulding and dies makes them a desirable choice for a range of applications.
