Molly Arbuthnott is an academic, teacher, editor, and children's book author from Britain. She has an M.A. in art history and an M.Ed. in children's literature under her belt. Her most well-known creation is the four-book "The Adventures of Oscar the Cat" series. Her work is inspired by her personal experiences, and she is passionate about promoting children's books. In addition to attempting to convey stories honestly and compassionately and to appreciate the positive things in our world, Arbuthnott is the author of nine picture books that have won awards. Each story is loosely based on a family member or acquaintance who has played a significant role in her life. She thinks that having a strong grasp of literature and the capacity to read might help one take on the world
