United States to set electric-vehicle (EV) sales goal of 50% by 2030

By 2030, half of all cars and light trucks sold in the US will be electric, hydrogen fuel cell, or plug-in hybrid vehicles, under voluntary targets to be announced by the Biden administration on Thursday and backed by automakers on government support.
